How I Work

I am a Person-Centred and Integrative Counsellor which means I can be flexible in how I work depending on your needs. As a compassionate and engaging Person Centred Counsellor, I believe that YOU have the ability to change as you learn more about yourself to re-discover your inner resources enabling you to find your best way forward. I am Experienced and Trained in working with Survivors of Childhood Abuse, Neglect, Trauma. I am also a Trained Cognitive Behaviour Therapist (CBT) which looks at ways to change your thoughts, feelings and behaviour and I tend to use this often with clients looking for short term Counselling. All types of Therapy have their advantages and I find using a combination can lead to progress and change. We can also look at using some Mindfulness techniques  which many of my clients have found to be a useful to relieve Stress and Anxiety.
