How I Work

I am a Person-Centred and Integrative counsellor which means I can be flexible in how I work depending on your needs. As a compassionate and engaging Person Centred Counsellor, I believe that you have the ability to change as you learn more about yourself to re discover your inner resources enabling you to find your best way forward. I am also a trained Cognitive Behaviour Therapist (CBT) which looks at ways to change your thoughts, feelings and behaviour. Both types of therapy have their advantages and I find using a combination of the two along with other methods can lead to progress and change. We can also look at using some Mindfulness techniques  which many of my clients have found to be a useful to relieve stress and anxiety.
