How I Work

I am a Person-Centred and Integrative counsellor which means I can be flexible in how I work depending on your needs. As a compassionate and engaging Person Centred Counsellor, I believe that you have the ability to change as you learn more about yourself to re discover your inner resources enabling you to find your best way forward. I also use Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT) which looks at ways to change your thoughts, feelings and behaviour. Both types of therapy have their advantages and I find using a combination of the two can lead to progress and change. We can also look at using some Mindfulness techniques  which many of my clients have found to be a useful to relieve stress and anxiety.
