What is Counselling?
Counselling is a very individual and personal experience or journey.
It is working together to build a trusting, therapeutic relationship to start the healing process which can enable real and lasting change in your life.
Counselling can be short, medium or long term and is a place where you will feel safe to explore any concerns, thoughts, behaviours or feelings that are interfering with your everyday life.
Our therapeutic relationship will allow you space to explore whatever you bring to our sessions openly and confidentially without being judged.
With my support and empathy your counselling experience will help you to learn more about yourself and re-discover your inner recourses so that you can find your best way forward.
It may be a challenge!
Best of all an empowering experience!
My Private Practice
I see most of my Clients at my Private Practice in Broadstone, Dorset. (see photo below) I set up this discrete room to provide a safe, warm and comfortable environment for all of my clients. Leading to the room is a private and comfortable waiting room (see photo below) and my colleague provides counselling in the room next door. We also have another room which we can use as a waiting room when it is not being let to other therapists.Together we call this area Broadstone Counselling (see our Facebook page by clicking on the link) and we work individually as counsellors. (See the ‘About me’ page for details of my experience)
Wheelchair access is available by arrangement.
